On this project I was working as the lead artist.
I was working as part of a team with hospital staff, architects and contractors. The basic layout of the room was designed by the architect. My role was to produce artwork – the mosaics – and specify the colours and finishes, including the Marmoleum floor. The project involved consultation and practical workshops with staff and patients of the hospital.
The project was one of a number of nurse-led refurbishment schemes sponsored by the Kings Fund. |
