This wall is greeting visitors and patients to the Children's Centre, and I wanted to give an inviting and positive feel to the place. I developed the letterforms with the children of the hospital school and other primary schools.

I encouraged the children to use their imagination to embellish the letters, personalising them, employing figurative characteristics and humour for each letter, and to always keeping in mind what would make them feel happy and healthy.
