The Adult Acute Unit at Callingdon Road, Bristol deals with patients admitted with acute mental health problems.

The ideas for the mural came out of my sessions with the patients: many said that they wanted a simple uplifting image, something that links them to nature and that is calming. Cherry blossom was mentioned independently several times, and without any prompting from me - maybe because it's that time of year!
